Exploring the Elementor Interface

When you launch the Elementor Editor, you’ll encounter an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows you to design and customize your website’s pages visually. Let’s explore the key elements and features of the Elementor interface:

  1. Canvas:

    • The canvas is the central area of the editor where you build your page.
    • It displays a visual representation of your page’s layout and content.
    • You can drag and drop elements onto the canvas and arrange them as desired.
  2. Elements Panel:

    • The Elements panel is located on the left-hand side of the editor.
    • It contains a vast library of widgets and elements that you can use to build your page.
    • The elements are categorized into sections, such as Basic, General, Pro, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.
    • To add an element to your page, simply drag and drop it from the Elements panel onto the canvas.
  3. Navigator:

    • The Navigator panel is situated on the left-hand side of the editor, below the Elements panel.
    • It provides an overview of the elements and sections on your page.
    • You can use the Navigator to easily select and navigate to specific elements, especially when dealing with complex page designs.
  4. Top Bar:

    • The top bar of the Elementor interface contains several important options and buttons.
    • The “+” icon allows you to add a new section to your page.
    • The folder icon represents the Templates library, where you can access pre-designed templates to use on your page.
    • The mobile and tablet icons enable you to switch between different device views and customize the responsive design of your page.
    • The eye icon allows you to preview your page in a separate tab.
    • The floppy disk icon is used to save your changes.
    • The arrow icon represents the history panel, where you can view and manage your undo/redo history.
  5. Side Panel:

    • The side panel is located on the left-hand side of the editor.
    • It contains various settings and options specific to the selected element or section.
    • When you select an element or section on the canvas, the side panel displays the corresponding settings for customization.
    • The side panel allows you to modify the content, styling, layout, and other properties of the selected element.
  6. Bottom Panel:

    • The bottom panel appears at the bottom of the editor interface.
    • It includes options like responsive mode, global settings, and the publish/update button.
    • The responsive mode allows you to preview and customize your page’s appearance for different device views.
    • The global settings button enables you to access global styling options that affect multiple elements across your entire website.
  7. Contextual Menu:

    • The contextual menu appears when you right-click on an element or section on the canvas.
    • It provides quick access to common actions and options for the selected element.
    • The contextual menu allows you to duplicate, delete, edit, or customize the settings of the selected element.
