1. Creating a course with LearnPress
1.1 Create A Course
To start,
2. Go to LearnPress > Courses.
3. Click Add New
4. Enter Course Title
5. Describe Your Course
6. Create Course Curriculum
under Course Curriculum you can choose
a. Add Lesson: to add lessons
b. Add Quiz: to add a quiz
1.2 Course Settings
Duration – Set the duration of the course
Maximum Students – Enter the number of students to partake in the course.
Students Enrolled – Display the number of students who have enrolled in this course.
Retake Course – Decide how many times users can retake a course
Featured – Add courses to a featured list
Block lessons – Block course contents from users when they have completed the course
Course Results – Choose how your users are evaluated for the course. The options available includes: via lessons, via exams, via results of quizzes
Pass condition – Choose the percentage of quiz results required to pass this course
Price – Enter the price of the course and the Sale Price for the course
Review log – Access the reviews for the course
Author – Enter the course author
Discussions – Allow discussions on the course
Course Tags – Add tags and key words for locating the course easily
Featured Image – Upload the featured Image for the course
2.1 Lessons
Create a Lesson
To create a lesson,
1. Go to, LearnPress > Lesson
2. Click Add New
3. Give a title to the lessons and Describe lesson
2.2 Lesson Settings
Lesson Duration – Set the duration in hours and minutes for the lesson.
Review Lessons – Allow users to review lessons.
3.1 Quizzes
Create a Quiz
1. Go To, LearnPress > quizzes.
2. Click Add New.
3. Enter the quiz title
4. Enter Contents of the Quiz
3.2 Quiz Settings
Quiz Duration – Set the duration for each quiz
Question – Assign questions to quizzes
Quiz review – Allow reviews on the quizzes
Minus Point – Enter the points to deduct for each wrong answer
Pass Grade – Determine the pass grade needed to enter the quiz
Retake Quiz – Choose how many times users can retake a quiz
Check Answers – Choose to display answers to each question
Add Image – Add Images and diagrams to quizzes
4.1 Questions
Create a Question
1. Go To, LearnPress > questions
2. Click Add New
3. Enter Question Title
4.2 Enter Questions
Add and format text
1.Place your cursor and type your text
2. select the text and select an option to change the text format
Add Videos and Pictures
1.Position the cursor where you want to enter:
2.Click Add Media and do one of these:
Image– select the image you want and click insert into page.
Video– select the video you want and click insert into page.
Upload Files – select upload files, browse the pictures and videos from your device to include into the media library
2. Choose the question format
True or False –Set true or false questions
Multi Choice – Set multi choice questions
Single Choice – Set single choice questions
Mark for Question – Determine the marks for each question
Question Explanations – Explain the questions further
Question Hints – Give hints to questions
5.1 Announcements
This addon allows you to notify your students by Email or internally.
Requirements

Creating an announcement
1. Go to LearnPress and click Courses
2. Choose the course you want to work with or create a new course.
3. Under Course Settings, click the Announcement tab.
4. Enter the Announcement Title and check Send to users address.
5.2 WooCommerce Integration Addon with LearnPress
with this addon, your users can access your LearnPress courses through WooCommerce online shopping system and therefore having access to the payment methods in WooCommerce. These payment methods can include, Visa/Credit Card, bank transfer, check payment and any other installed payment gateways supported by WooCommerce.

3. WooCommerce for LearnPress add-on integration.
Installing the Add-on
To install the add-on
1. Go to plugins and search for WooCommerce add-on for LearnPress
2. Click Activate.
3. On the left sidebar, go to LearnPress and Click Settings.
4. Go to the Payments tab and click WooCommerce Payments on the left side of the page
5. Change the Purchase Button to Add to cart button or leave it as it.
6. On the left Sidebar go to click WooCommerce and Click Settings.
7. Click the Checkout tab
8. Under the Gateway display order there the list of payment gateways installed in WooCommerce:
i. BACs: this indicates the direct bank transfer. Make sure to add the details correctly
ii. PayPal: Enter the email of your PayPal account, make the necessary changes and install the needed addons to use.
6 Orders
Manage Orders
To view your orders, Click Orders
Create Orders – Enter course orders
Ordered Items – On the dashboard find the details of each course ordered;
Validate ordered items by:
Order number, Student, Course ordered, Date Ordered, Total Amount, order status
7 Statistics
To view statistics, Go to LearnPress > Statistics
1. General – View course statistics
2. Courses – View course characteristics such as public courses, pending courses paid courses and free courses.
3. Users – View instructors and students’ history
4. Orders – View order history, completed and pending.
