Integrating Zoho Forms with WordPress

In this lesson, we will cover the process of integrating Zoho Forms with TechShop’s WordPress website. Zoho Forms is a powerful form builder that allows you to create and manage forms for various purposes, such as contact forms, feedback forms, order forms, and more. By integrating Zoho Forms with your website, you can collect valuable data from your customers and streamline your business processes. Follow the steps below to integrate Zoho Forms with WordPress:

  1. Install and activate the Zoho Forms plugin:

    • From the WordPress dashboard, go to “Plugins” and click on “Installed Plugins
    • Search for the “Zoho Forms” plugin, and once found, click on “Activate” to activate the plugin.
  2. Obtain the Zoho Forms API key:

    • Log in to your Zoho Forms account.
    • Go to “Settings” and select “Integrations.”
    • Under “API,” click on “API Keys.”
    • Generate a new API key by clicking on the “Generate New Key” button.
    • Copy the generated API key as it will be needed during the plugin configuration.
  3. Configure the Zoho Forms plugin:

    • Go back to your WordPress dashboard and click on “Zoho Forms” from the menu.
    • Enter the Zoho Forms API key in the provided field.
    • Click on the “Connect” button to establish a connection between the plugin and your Zoho Forms account.
  4. Select the Zoho Forms account and form:

    • After connecting, you will see a list of your Zoho Forms accounts.
    • Select the appropriate account that contains the forms you want to integrate.
    • Once selected, you will see a list of available forms within that account.
  5. Choose the form and embed it:

    • Select the form you want to integrate from the list.
    • Choose the display option for the form, such as embedding it within a page or post.
    • Copy the shortcode provided by the plugin.
  6. Embed the form in a WordPress page or post:

    • Create a new page or edit an existing one in WordPress.
    • Paste the copied shortcode into the content editor where you want the form to appear.
    • Save or update the page to apply the changes.
  7. Test the form integration:

    • Visit the page where you embedded the form on your website.
    • Fill out the form fields and submit the form.
    • Check if the form submission data is successfully recorded in your Zoho Forms account.
